The Kirkpatrick/Johnson Award was created in 2008. This award is to honor an Outstanding Mason each year. This award is to be given to a member that has shown outstanding service all around. This award is decided by the Worshipful Master and the Junior and Senior Wardens. The recipient for 2009 is GARY NELSON. Please lets all take time to congratulate him.

Long time member CARL HOWARD was giving a plaque, to thank him for the years he has served LEBANON LODGE. Including but not limited to: Master, Secretary, District Chairman, and Committee Member. Carl has served as secretary for the past 12 years. He has dedicated so much time and effort into Lebanon Lodge #98. Please take time to thank him for his services.

January Events

Tuesday 5, 2010 - 8 Members of Lebanon Lodge #98 traveled to Mt. Juliet Lodge #642 and retrieved the Traveling Gavel.

May Events

Monday 3, 2010 - Lebanon Lodge presented Zach Gibbs with the 2010 Scholarship Award. Zach comes from Wilson Central High School and plans on attending Cumberland Collage. Zach was chosen out of 12 applicants, the most in recent years. Pictured below are Zach, Past MWGM Dickie Johnson, the scholarship committee, and his parents.

June Events

Saturday 19, 2010 - 1st Annual Lebanon Masonic Lodge Charity Golf Tournament was held at Pine Creek Golf Course. There were 44 registered players along with 19 Hole Sponsors. This event was the first of it's type for the lodge and was a HUGE SUCCESS. This raised the most a fundraiser had in many years. Everyone is already looking forward to next year. Thank you goes out to all the Players, Hole Sponsors, Committee Members, and Volunteers. Pictures have been posted on both our picture page and out FACEBOOK page. Brethren,

I hope everyone had a safe and happy July Fourth weekend. Since our July stated meeting was on a holiday weekend attendance was down this month, so it was brought to the attention of the Worshipful Master that the September meeting would fall on Labor Day and he has moved the September meeting one day to Tuesday the 7th of September.

PLEASE REMEMBER SEPTEMBERS MEETING HAS BEEN CHANGED TO TUESDAY SEPT. 7TH DUE TO LABOR DAY.

Congratulations are in order for Worshipful Master Anthony Andrews for turning in his Master Mason Lecture (a few months back) and earning his lecture card at the Official Visit in June. Our newest Master Mason, James Aaron Upton, also deserves congratulations for turning in his lecture less than a week after being raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason. I am sure Past Grand Master Dickie Johnson is very proud of his grandson’s accomplishment.

The petition of Joseph Roy Peterka was received and a committee appointed.

The First Annual Lebanon 98 Golf Tournament was Saturday June 19th at Pine Creek Golf Course in Mt. Juliet. Everyone had a GREAT time. The Golf committee would like to thank everyone for making this a huge success, without the volunteers and members getting hole sponsors it wouldn’t have been possible. The event raised $2,922.06 for the lodge. The surprise of the day was the Charlie Daniels autographed fiddle that sold for $650.

Remember 2010 dues are due now. Dues are $70 the Grand Master has made a request to please send an additional $5 for the Widows and Orphans Fund. If you wish to mail them the mailing address is Lebanon Lodge 98 P.O. Box 771 Lebanon, TN. 37088.

Friday 13 thru Saturday 21 - Wilson County Fair, once again all the Masonic Lodges in Wilson County will be participating in the Children's Identification Bracelet program. We will need volunteers from every lodge in the county for all 9 days of the event. More details to follow.
